Payment and Cancellation Policy

Tour Payment Policy

Reserving Your Tour

  • A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your spot. This amount is applied to the total cost of your tour. It cannot be applied as a credit to future tours (please see cancellation policy below).

Tour Payments

  • 8 months before tour departure date: $3,000 installment is due.

  • 4 months before tour departure date: Remaining balance of full tour costs plus add ons is due.

  • If booking less than 4 months before tour departure date: Full tour cost amount is due at booking.

Cancellation Policy

If your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible. We aim to be flexible, but our policy ensures we can cover pre-paid costs like staffing and third-party bookings that are finalized in advance.

  • Deposits: $500 deposits are non-refundable and ineligible as credit for other tours.

  • More than 5 month notice: Any amount paid towards the tour until 5 months prior to the tour start date (minus deposit) can be applied as a credit for future tours.

  • 3-5 month notice: 50% of amount paid towards tour (minus deposit) can be applied as a credit for future tours.

  • Less than 3 months until tour start date: No credits available. Because we have already confirmed and paid for third party bookings, such as accommodations, chefs, restaurant reservations, staff, rentals, etc., we are unable to guarantee credits to future tours. Additionally, with less than 3 months to the trip, it’s difficult for us to find someone to fill a spot in the case of cancellation. For this reason, we highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance should you need to cancel in the 3 months leading up to the tour start date.

  • Credit policy: Credits cannot be used towards deposits for other tours. One-time use only.

  • Expiration: Credits expire 2 years after the initial tour start date.

  • Trip protection & insurance: We highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance. Click Here to purchase insurance via Travel Guard.
